If you deploy your own Pixelflare instance, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
Your Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for:
- Security - Operating and maintaining your instance securely
- User Content - All content uploaded by your users
- Compliance - Following all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction
- Policies - Creating your own terms of service, privacy policy, and other required legal documents
- Moderation - Monitoring and moderating content on your instance
- Data Protection - Handling user data in compliance with GDPR, CCPA, or other data protection laws
No Liability
Alicia Sykes and Pixelflare contributors are not liable for:
- How you operate your instance
- Content uploaded to your instance
- Security breaches, data loss, or service interruptions
- Legal violations by you or your users
- Any damages arising from your use of the software
Software License
Pixelflare is provided under the MIT License "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Alicia Sykes and Pixelflare contributors from any claims arising from your operation of a Pixelflare instance or actions of your users.
